About us
VISION & MISSION
My Vision is to gather all Malaysian Indians ; Tamilians, Malayalam, Telugus, Sikhs, Ceylonese through Our Malaysian Indian Association. My main goal is to unite each and every Malaysian Indian to create a breakthrough with our Malaysian government, unite all the NGO’s of Indian Origin for discussion, call for a discussion with Professionals and corporate figures.
Since 1971, we have lost all our rights under the new economy policy. We proudly have been fighting, shedding blood and sweat alongside other races for the independence for Malaysia. We clearly know that the Japanese whom have killed thousands of Malaysians during the war for our independence ; and yet since 1981, Malaysia have been in alliance with the Japanese using their technologies and capitalising financially. If they can be forgiven and forgotten, why not us ? Don’t we deserve the same equal respect, rights and treatment like every races in this country ?
Two generations have passed, but we are still at the same position. How many more years do we have to waste? When are we going to stand united? We have been deceived, victimised and treated unjustly financially, economically, professionally, ethically, in terms of education opportunities for our children. This is the reason why I have come up with the 35 memorandums stating our current situation and where we want to be in the near future.
My mission ; We are going to present these 35 memorandums to the government and the party that agrees to fulfil this will be get our votes from OMIA. For this to happen, we need 500,000 members to be registered under OMIA. Secondly, we are going to register OMIA members internationally so that we can widen the horizon for us to explore education, career for the unskilled and skilled, business opportunities, and even create chances for migration. Thirdly, we are going to seek advice from professionals to create an investment plan so we, OMIA members can have financial stability.
